PFRW is composed of over 89  local councils from across the state bringing membership to over 3.000.  Each of the thirty Directors who make up the Board , are recommended by the nominating committee and elected at the Annual Convention, historically held in the fall.  In addition  to the Annual Convention, the Board of Directors meets four times a year. Along with ten other charter councils, PFRW went on to organize the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) in 1938 and remains affiliated with NFRW today.  The Governing Board of NFRW is comprised of all the state council Presidents and an elected Executive Committee.  NFRW is located at 124 North Alfred Street, Alexandria, VA.

Information and mailing on local, state and national government and current issues. The opportunity to network with other women leaders on the local, state and national level. A Minority Outreach Program An annual Spring Conference held in you area, bringing you information on political activities and current issues, with local council tips on building membership. An annual Convention featuring prominent speakers and workshops geared toward answering women's questions issues and topics sensitive to women. Outstanding republican Woman Award Honoree selected annually. State Directors who serve as liaisons to the local councils A voice and vote in leadership of the Republican State Committee through the President of PFRW.
