| 2011-2012 PFRW Slate of Officers Election of the 2011-2012 PFRW officers will be held during the business sessions of the 2010 PFRW Convention in Lancaster in September. The 2011-2012 Slate of Officers are: Margaret Recupido, President; Meryl Hatton, 1st Vice President; Barbara B. Cross, 2nd Vice President; Mary Barket, 3rd Vice President; Jo Ferro, 4th Vice President; Joyce A. Grant, Immediate Past President; Ursula Fox, Treasurer, Suzanne Connelly, Assistant Treasurer, Vivian Altman, Recording Secretary and Marletta Shadduck, Corresponding Secretary. The nominees for Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary were inadvertently omitted in the last issue of Commonwealth Connection. PFRW Convention The 88th Annual Convention of the Pennsylvania Federation of Republican Women will be held September 17 - 19 at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center, 2300 Lancaster Highway East, Lancaster, PA, 17602. The PFRW Executive Committee and Board of Directors will meet from 10:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, September 17. A working brunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Cost for the brunch is $15. Reservations and a check made payable to PFRW for the brunch should be sent to PA Federation of Republican Women, 806 North Second Street, Harrisburg, PA, 17102-3212. Please RSVP no later than September 1, 2010. Members of the Board of Directors are asked to submit their convention registration by September 7, 2010. Local council presidents should refer to the convention information packet which was mailed recently for complete details on delegates, alternate delegates and guests. The order form for individual meals can also be found in this mailing. The convention will begin Friday afternoon, September 17th and continue through noon on Sunday, September 19th. The weekend schedule includes special presentations and panels. Republican candidates and elected officials are scheduled to address the gathering. The Opening Dinner, Saturday Luncheon, Saturday Evening Dinner and Sunday Inspirational Breakfast are all highlights of the annual meeting. |
