GOP Primary Update
PFRW Deadlines Approaching
Congratulations and best wishes are in order to all the Republican candidates and the nominees selected in the April 22 primary.  It is now time to swell our numbers by increasing Republican voter registrations so we can elect those nominated.
Three very important PFRW deadlines are rapidly approaching.  Applications for both the Anne B. Anstine Memorial Scholarship and the newly formed Elsie T. Young Internship program are due April 30th.  Details for each of these programs can be found on PFRW's web site at www.pcrw.org.
PA Republican State Committee, along with each local county Republican Committee, is working very hard to register each and every possible Republican voter in Pennsylvania.  You can help in this important effort.  Make sure everyone you know, whether it's a family member, neighbor or friend, is registered to vote.
Reservations for the North East/North Central Region Spring Conference are due May 1st.  This conference will be held May 17th from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Ramada in Clarks Summit, PA.
Payment for this event must be made in advance.  The cost is $25.00 with checks made payable to PFRW but mailed to Judy Murphy, reservation chair, PO Box 66, Prompton, PA18456
Remember to pick up an extra voter registration form or two the next time you are in the post office or contact your local Republican county chairman for a supply.
NFRW Celebrates Its 70th Year
2008 marks NFRW's 70th Birthday!  NFRW is seeking historic photos to feature with coverage of this special anniversary. State Federations are asked
to check archives and records for photographs that might be appropriate. If you have photographs in your personal files that you would like to share, please let President Garvey know.
