General Information
The Pennsylvania Federation of Republican Women provides assistance to an under­graduate student, primarily for tuition. Applicants to the scholarship program must be a female, in her final year of secondary school at the time of application. Additionally, the parents, grandparents or legal guardians of the student are required to be members, in good standing, of the Pennsylvania Federation of Republican Women. The Anne B. Anstine Scholarship may be used for college costs at four year colleges and universities, two year junior or community colleges or post-secondary certificate programs.
Selection Criteria
The Anne B. Anstine Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student who is selected by the scholarship committee on the basis of factors relating to academic performance and leadership potential.
These factors are: high school grades, Scholastic Achievement Test scores and extra-curricular activities.
A.  EVIDENCE OF LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL:
In completing this section, PFRW scholarship committee requests that you give as full an account of your extra-curricular and out-of-school activities as is possible. It is important that you cite all work experience, community and political activities, special courses or classes both in and outside of school, special projects, and other involvements or memberships which would aid the committee in determining leadership qualities.

1.  High School Extra-Curricular Activities:
Please note and give a brief description of any and all activities you participated in during high school (e.g. Sports, Student Government Clubs, Publications, Committees and Special Projects.)
2.  Activities Outside of School: hobbies, Girl Scouts, Social clubs,
      Religious activities, etc.
3.  Work Activities: If you have done any volunteer work and or received
     payment for services rendered at any time during your final three
     years in high school, list and briefly describe your involvement.
Include: title, responsibilities, starting and ending dates and number of hours per week.  Please distinguish between paid
and volunteer positions.
*Please provide a copy of your SAT scores and High School transcript with this application.
*If the school's transcript is not available at the time of the deadline please have the school send the transcript to the scholarship chairperson
